Hello Steck Families!

Welcome back to the new and exciting 2011-2012 school year. I hope everyone had a fun and relaxing summer, and that now all the kiddos are ready to get their learning caps on!

I am honored to be your PTA President this year, and thank you all for giving me the opportunity to serve. I look forward to working with many of you, getting to know more of the Steck families, and hopefully making this a fun and enriching school year for everyone. I have a wonderful Executive Board working with me to make it all happen: Shelby Beebe is 1^st Vice President, Heather Sheppard is 2^nd Vice President, Jennifer Nix is 1^st Secretary, Wendy Watkins is back for another tour as 2^nd Secretary, and Andrea Sullivan is our Treasurer. I have worked with many of these ladies on other initiatives and projects, and am thrilled to have them on the board this year.

As some of you may already know, I have 2 children at Steck this year. My daughter Lauren is in 2^nd grade, and my son Joshua is starting his career at Steck in Kindergarten. My husband Tom and I have been in the neighborhood for 5 years now, and have just grown to love all that it has to offer.

I hope to see you all at our PTA meetings and events. Please let any of us know when you are interested in volunteer opportunities. We welcome your time and assistance. I know together we can make this a great year for all our children.
