Kane County Cougars

PROGRAM RUNS FROM JANUARY THROUGH MID-MARCH.

Students in K-1 will have a weekly number of minutes to read for the eight weeks of the program, leading to a free game ticket.  Students in grades 2-5 may apply a portion of Accelerated Reader points they earn towards a free ticket.  All students who attend the ball game will receive free food and other special gifts from the Cougars.  Parents, family members, and friends may purchase tickets to attend the game with their students at a special rate.  At the completion of the reading program in March the Student Council will sell these tickets as a fundraising project.

Grades K-1
Your children will bring home green weekly inning sheets.  These sheets are to be returned to school one at a time each Tuesday during the eight weeks of the program.

Grades 2-5
Please encourage your children to read and participate in the Accelerated Reader program.  All students who complete their reading level goals will receive a bookmark and free ticket.
